1. Who this applies to
These Terms govern use of Storyframe by Writers, Reviewers, and Production Crew members.
2. Author ownership of submitted work
You retain full, exclusive ownership of the intellectual property in any story you submit. Submitting grants Storyframe only a limited, non-exclusive license to display your submission for review, script doctoring, and voting, and to record a proof-of-creation hash. That license ends if you delete an unselected submission. Storyframe never sells or sublicenses your work to third parties.
3. Proof of creation
Every submission and revision is hashed (SHA-256) together with a server timestamp, giving you evidence of authorship and creation date.
4. Production license for winning entries
If your submission wins its cycle, you grant Storyframe a license to adapt it into an AI-generated film, including generating derivative prompts, video, audio, and imagery, and to distribute the resulting film. Credit and revenue-sharing terms are set out separately and incorporated by reference.
5. Reviewer conduct
Reviewers score story quality in good faith, without regard to genre, and keep blind-review materials confidential.
6. Anti-scraping measures
The Platform restricts copying and rate-limits access to discourage bulk scraping. Circumventing these measures breaches these Terms.
